Winter on the plateau, however, does not mean just sports: there are many initiatives organized by the municipalities for the enjoyment of young and old, like the Christmas markets, Christmas concerts, theatre shows and much more.
To visit in winter
During the Christmas season, in the main centres of the Asiago plateau atmosphere is really impressive.
Walk among the houses of the Christmas markets, a thousand ornaments and colored lights, maybe enjoying a good hot chocolate or mulled wine, is a unique experience to share with your loved one, friends and family.
On colder days, you can also visit exhibitions and museums, to delve into the history of a territory, that of the plateau, which was involved in one of the toughest and violent conflicts in the history of Italy, the great war.
